Kanya Shala Project – Empowering Girls | Inner Wheel Club of Borivli
On 20 January 2023, Inner Wheel Club of Borivli organized a impactful social initiative at Kanya Shala, a school dedicated to supporting 21 girls from remote and underprivileged villages. The main aim of this project was to promote girls’ education, provide essential resources, and create awareness about hygiene and community development.
During the visit, the team distributed writing pads and pens to help the students prepare for their upcoming examinations, ensuring they have the necessary tools for academic success. In addition to educational support, essential daily-use items such as groceries, buckets, and mugs were also provided to improve their living conditions and maintain proper hygiene.
This meaningful project was generously sponsored and coordinated by PP Namrata Vyas. The initiative received strong support from VP Bhavana Kapadia, PP Hemaben, Hina Ben, and other dedicated members of the Inner Wheel Club of Borivli, who played a key role in executing the project smoothly and effectively.
Beyond material support, the initiative emphasized the importance of education, personal hygiene, and self-confidence among the girls. The interaction with club members helped inspire and motivate the students to continue their education and strive for a better future.
