Republic Day Celebration & Social Service Initiatives | Inner Wheel Club of Borivli
On 26 January 2023, on the proud occasion of the 74th Republic Day of India, Inner Wheel Club of Borivli celebrated the spirit of patriotism and service by hoisting the National Flag at MPS Poinsur School. It was an honor for the club to be part of this significant national celebration and contribute to society through meaningful initiatives.
As part of the day’s activities, the club made a valuable contribution towards an ambulance project in collaboration with Asthavinayak Mitra Mandal. The ambulance was officially inaugurated by Member of Parliament Gopal Shetty, who appreciated and recognized the efforts of the Inner Wheel Club of Borivli for supporting such a noble cause. Shiva Shetty also acknowledged the club’s contribution and extended gratitude for their involvement.
In addition to this, an eye check-up camp was successfully organized in association with Asthavinayak Mitra Mandal. Along with other ongoing medical camps, this initiative benefited more than 100 individuals by providing essential healthcare services and promoting awareness about eye health.
This project also served as an excellent public relations initiative, as the club’s name and logo were prominently displayed on the ambulance, enhancing visibility and community recognition.
Further celebrating the occasion, members of the club attended the “Bharat Ke Veer” district live concert by renowned singer Javed Ali. The event highlighted a noble cause, where Inner Wheel District 314 contributed ₹1.50 crore to the families of martyrs of the Indian Army. A total of 23 members from the club participated, marking the highest attendance from Zone-3, making it a proud and memorable moment for the organization.
Overall, the Republic Day celebration was a perfect blend of patriotism, social service, healthcare support, and community engagement. Inner Wheel Club of Borivli continues to uphold its mission of serving society and making a meaningful impact through such initiatives.
