On 04 October 2022, the Inner Wheel Club of Borivli had a blessed and meaningful day, carrying out three impactful projects on the auspicious occasion of Maha Navami, with guidance and blessings from Mataji.
1) Birthday Donation by New Member Chetna Shinde
Our new member, Chetna Shinde, celebrated her birthday in a remarkable way by donating the cost of a Dental Check-Up for 30 students, amounting to ₹25,000 to ₹30,000. This initiative provided essential dental care for children and highlighted the spirit of giving on personal milestones.
2) Lunch for Senior Citizens at Maru Ghar
Past President Meena Kaku organized and provided a delicious lunch for approximately 85 senior citizens at Maru Ghar, spreading joy and nourishment to the elderly residents.
3) Prizes Sponsored at Vidya Vikas School, Borivli (W)
The club sponsored prizes for various competitions at Vidya Vikas School, including Singing, Storytelling, Handwriting, Memory Power, Drawing, Painting, Fancy Dress, and Garba Dance. Each group had two prizes sponsored by IWCB, encouraging participation and celebrating students’ talents.
The project was coordinated under the guidance of Chairperson Chhayaben Wani, with active participation from Chhayaben Wani, President Jigna Mistry, Secretary Jaynisha Sampat, and PP Ketal Tapiawala, ensuring smooth execution of all three initiatives.
The day exemplified the Inner Wheel Club of Borivli’s dedication to child welfare, senior citizen care, and educational support, demonstrating how community service can be integrated with personal celebrations and festive occasions.
With gratitude, the club acknowledges the blessings of Maa Durga, which gave the strength to successfully perform multiple projects on this auspicious day.
