On 23 August 2022, the Inner Wheel Club of Borivli, Zone 3, successfully conducted the Sparsh Project at BMC Poisur School, located at Sumer Nagar, Jain Mandir Road. The program was organized at a government offline school, focusing on early-age awareness and value-based learning.

The project consisted of two interactive sessions, conducted in Hindi, catering to children in the age group of 5 to 8 years, studying in Grades 1 to 4. A total of 210 students benefited from the sessions, including 90 boys and 120 girls. The program was also supported by 5 teachers, ensuring smooth coordination and student engagement. No parents were present during the sessions.

The sessions were effectively delivered by Speaker Surekha Punmiya, who engaged young students with age-appropriate communication and activities. The project was well coordinated by CSC Hemlata Panchal, with guidance and support from Sparsh Zonal Coordinator Pratibha Shah. The initiative was attended by 4 Inner Wheel members, who actively supported the successful execution of the program.

The Sparsh Project aims to nurture awareness, safety, and positive values among young children at an early stage, helping them grow with confidence and understanding. The sessions were well received by both students and teachers, making the initiative impactful and meaningful.

This project once again highlighted the Inner Wheel Club of Borivli’s commitment to child welfare, education, and community service, especially within government schools.
