Water Purifier Installation at Dadar West Railway Station | Inner Wheel Club of Borivli
On 11 April 2023, Inner Wheel Club of Borivli proudly contributed towards a significant public welfare initiative by installing a water purifying machine at Dadar (West) Railway Station. This project aligns with the vision of Mita Sheth, whose dream is to provide access to clean drinking water at railway stations across the district.
Access to safe and clean drinking water is essential for maintaining good health and well-being, especially in high-traffic public areas like railway stations. Through this initiative, the club has taken a meaningful step towards ensuring that thousands of daily commuters and visitors can benefit from hygienic drinking water facilities.
This project was successfully executed under the leadership of President Jigna Mistry and with the dedicated efforts of club members. The club was able to secure sponsorship from a generous donor, making this noble initiative possible.
Special thanks to Amita Timbadia, District Project Chairman, and Francis Vaidya for their coordination and support in facilitating the installation at the station, particularly at Platform No. 1.
The club expresses heartfelt gratitude to donor Kumudben Mansukhlal Sanghani and her family for their generous contribution towards this meaningful cause. A special appreciation goes to Ashwin Gala for promptly identifying and confirming the donor, ensuring timely execution of the project.
The event was graced by Mona Gyani and Sonal Chandarana, along with enthusiastic participation from members of Inner Wheel Club of Borivli.
The club also extends its sincere thanks to the station authorities and staff for their cooperation in successfully completing the installation.
This initiative reflects the club’s commitment to community welfare and sustainable development. By providing access to clean drinking water, Inner Wheel Club of Borivli continues to make a positive and lasting impact on society.
