Dupatta Distribution to RAF Lady Jawans | Inner Wheel Club of Borivli
On 18 April 2023, Inner Wheel Club of Borivli participated in a heartfelt and patriotic initiative by visiting the 102 RAF Battalion at Kharghar, where dupattas were gifted to lady jawans serving the nation.
This meaningful project was initiated by District ISO Mona Gyani as part of her district-level competition, which successfully mobilized Inner Wheel members from within and beyond the district to contribute more than 800 dupattas. The initiative showcased unity, creativity, and a strong sense of purpose among members.
The event was conducted at a camp of the Rapid Action Force, a specialized wing of the Central Reserve Police Force. Around 100 dupattas were personally distributed to lady jawans as a gesture of respect, gratitude, and appreciation for their courage and dedication.
This initiative was also an extension of the Bharat Ke Veer project, reinforcing the commitment to support families of martyrs who sacrificed their lives in service to the nation. It was heartwarming to know that these dupattas would also reach the families of fallen soldiers, symbolizing honor and remembrance.
The event was organized under the guidance of District Chairman Mita Sheth, whose vision continues to inspire impactful and meaningful projects.
Meeting and interacting with the lady jawans was a deeply humbling and emotional experience for all members present. Their dedication, strength, and commitment to protecting the nation left a lasting impression.
This initiative beautifully reflected patriotism, compassion, and gratitude. Inner Wheel Club of Borivli remains committed to honoring and supporting the brave soldiers and their families through such meaningful efforts.
