On 18th January 2023, 29 enthusiastic Inner Wheel Club of Borivli members embarked on a memorable Picnic-cum-6th GBM at Govardhan Eco Village, Wada. The day was filled with fun, devotion, and fellowship.
The journey began with a lively game of Antakshari on the bus, keeping spirits high with evergreen songs. Breakfast at Mahaveer Dham included a visit to the Jain Temple, where members sought blessings and captured beautiful memories with photos.
Arriving at Govardhan Eco Village, the group explored the 100-acre complex with a guided tour of Lord Krishna temples and engaging stories of Gokul, Vrindavan, and Mathura. At the Radha Madanmohan Temple, the group spontaneously performed a Garba while chanting Hare Krishna Hare Rama, joined by local devotees — a delightful PR moment for IWCB!
The day was extra special as it coincided with Ekadashi, allowing members to perform Giriraj Parikrama and receive divine blessings. Walking through serene surroundings, members enjoyed peace, nature, and camaraderie.
Post lunch, the 6th GBM was conducted on-site. Pres. Jigna Mistry and ISO Mona Gyani shared insights about completed District projects, while ZC Sonal Chandarana highlighted the Bharat Ke Veer initiative. Members also shared experiences of Rotary Box Cricket victories and engaged in a huge Snakes & Ladders game, complete with fun challenges at each snake bite.
The evening included visits to the Gau Shala, organic shopping, and snacks on the bus ride back. Special thanks to PP Ketal Tapiawala for assistance and to all members for making this picnic a day of joy, devotion, and fellowship.

A day to remember, rejuvenated and ready to serve with renewed energy!
