On 26th January 2023, Inner Wheel Club of Borivli proudly celebrated Republic Day with multiple initiatives highlighting patriotism, social service, and community welfare.
Flag Hoisting:
The club had the honor to hoist the national flag at MPS Poinsur School, celebrating the 74th Republic Day of India. Members participated with enthusiasm, instilling patriotic values among students and the school community.
Ambulance Contribution:
Our club contributed towards an ambulance for Asthavinayak Mitra Mandal, which was inaugurated by MP Gopal Shettiji. The contribution was acknowledged by Shiva Shetty, and the club logo was proudly displayed on the ambulance, promoting social responsibility and goodwill.
Eye Check-Up Camp:
An eye check-up camp was conducted in association with Asthavinayak Mitra Mandal, benefiting over 100 people. The initiative was part of ongoing medical and health camps organized by the club to support underprivileged communities.
Bharat Ke Veer Live Concert:
Members attended a Bharat Ke Veer live concert by Javed Ali, celebrating heroism and honoring the Martyrs of the Indian Army Families. Inner Wheel District 314 donated Rs. 1.50 Cr to support the families of martyrs. 23 members from our club participated, marking the highest participation in Zone-3.
The event showcased Inner Wheel Club of Borivli’s commitment to patriotism, health, and community welfare, making Republic Day a memorable occasion for all members involved.
